About
Tomoharu Okamura
Tomoharu Okamura is a Japanese painter born in 1984 and based in Nagoya, Japan.
He studied Nihonga—traditional Japanese painting—at Tokyo University of the Arts,
where he developed a deep engagement with both art and the natural world.
Since graduating, he has been actively involved in exhibitions and art fairs in Japan and internationally.
His works employ traditional materials such as washi paper and mineral pigments,
fusing classical techniques with a contemporary sensibility.
岡村智晴は 1984 年生まれの日本画家。名古屋を拠点に活動している。
アートと自然に深く向き合い、東京藝術大学にて日本画を専攻。
卒業後は、国内外の展覧会やアートフェアを中心に精力的に活動を続けている。
和紙や岩絵具といった素材を用い、伝統的な技法に現代的な感性を融合させた作品を制作している。
